HBreader reading application works with Helicon Books EPUBCLOUD.

EPUBCLOUD is a cloud service that serves as a communication medium between a bookstore and the end user. 

EPUBCLOUD supports eBooks (in EPUB3 format), Audio books and PDF books (using a special package file).

This method provides ease of use for the end user and high end copy protection for the store, it an afordable price.

How it works?

• The bookstore sends the file to the cloud using a simple secure API.
• The cloud stores the books for the user. The cloud parses the book metadata and stores the metadata, this provides also a Catalog of all books available. The data stored for the book also contains the URL used to buy the book, so the catalog can act as a promotional tool.
• The end user connects to the reading application, that in turn connects to the cloud and downloads the books that are available for the user.
